It‘s getting gloomy and grey over here and for a

It‘s getting gloomy and grey over here and for a lot of us this means additional mental distress due to the lack of sunlight and activity. The best we can do is stay vigilant and engage in things that distract our minds and bodies from falling into a dull slumber.

I‘m back in the saddle and it feels great. I wiped off the dust off the grand lady today (after rehearsals and concerts that means…) and finally enjoyed a couple of hours of solitary practice. Woof.

There‘s so many things happening everywhere all of the time that sometimes being kicked out of the routine feels like a well-needed slap in the face and a reminder that both physical and mental challenges are vitalizing and essential to our well-being.

Make sure to take care of yourselves and each other. And don‘t hesitate to reach out, if you feel over- and underwhelmed by your own spiraling thoughts.

We’re finally going to return to the US with @le

We’re finally going to return to the US with @leprousofficial in March & April 2022 (fingers crossed)! We’re looking forward to meeting old and making new friends on your side of the Atlantic, we know we’ve neglected you guys for far too long… but we finally have O visas that are good for 3 years, so trust us, this will change and you won't get rid of us now!!

Phew! What a weekend. Playing three shows in a row

Phew! What a weekend. Playing three shows in a row almost feels like going back on tour… 🥰

…and now, after tasting the sweet fruits of being back on stage, i‘d love to just continue hitting the road and making more of these wonderful experiences.

It‘s incredible how much you can learn about yourself when communicating with others and one of my favourite elements of touring is the social interaction… with band mates, friends, partners, and of course also the people who come to the shows… 🤯

What i was reminded of this weekend: There’s so many things to process and so much energy gained and spent on trying to deliver the perfect set. But when you notice that the less you focus on trying to be perfect the better you play and sound… and that‘s where the REAL fun begins. 👻

Thanks also to all the promoters and the amazing bands we shared the stages with (esp. @llnn.band @barrens_official and the maniacs in @briqueville ) ♥️

Can‘t wait to do this again!

Greetings fellow humans! 👽

Where ever you may currently reside, remember that we‘re all rotating on this blob of matter together… orbiting yet another object that pulls us through this galaxy at an average of 828,000 kilometers per hour.

We all have our issues to chew on and our emotional luggage to carry. Don‘t get too dizzy, put your feet on the ground, hold on for a second, and notice that all the turbulence around you is nothing but a swirling interplay of everything in unison.

Your mind moves and everything moves with you, your breath, your blood, your surroundings. And as you come to a halt, time becomes irrelevant and your mind turns into an empty canvas.

That‘s where the magic begins! ♥️

Flashback to playing „Precambrian“ in its entirety over at the lovely @dunkfestival 😍 Still one of my favourite shows ever.

The room (or shall i say enormous circus tent?) was boiling, @chrissyboyisinthehouse blasting the volume so you could feel ever bassdrum hit flow through the air, and @petervoigtmann who wasn‘t yet playing on stage with us illuminated the scenery with the most massive lighting setup you can imagine… the whole performance felt like landing a space ship and shooting lasers into everyone‘s brains…

In addition the whole festival vibe was so smooth and relaxed and i remember all of us lying on the grass outside and just watching the blue sky, enjoying moments of collective joy…

What a festival! 😌

Phew! What a weekend. Playing three shows in a row almost feels like going back on tour… 🥰
